What is Duck Golf?

The BCDS Duck Golf events are a series of up to 8 individual tournaments hosted by various clubs around the province, associated with the BC Disc Sports Association, traditionally running October thru May.

The Duck Golf Series allows clubs to showcase their local courses, while challenging player's skills at those multiple courses to earn points towards being the division champion for each season.

How does the series work?

  • Points are awarded based on finishing placement, with 10 points going to a 1st place finish, descending to 1 point for a 10th place finish. Any finish below 10th do not receive points, and any ties have the points for all spots split between those in the tie.
  • Series standings are based on each players top finishes in over 50% of events (5 if all events can be held, 4 if only 7 or 6 events can be held, etc.) in whichever division they play. Points are not transferable between divisions.
  • There is a series Ace Pot which will accumulate throughout the total series, with anyone hitting an Ace at an event earning a share of the total pot for the series (split by day, as divisions on each day have been consistent as of November).

If there are any questions regarding current standings, or if your club would like to host a future event, please contact the BCDS Tournament Coordinator at bcdstournamentcoordinator@gmail.com
